Yes! All new clients receive a mini consultation at the beginning of their appointment so we can go over your hair goals, history, and expectations. Extension clients do require a separate, complimentary consultation prior to booking their install. This allows us to color match, discuss the method, and collect a deposit to order your hair.
Yes! Haven & Hue Hair Co. is a Davines salon, and we exclusively use Davines color — a high-performance, eco-friendly color line. Davines offers several options, including ammonia-free color. If you know you require an ammonia-free formula, please call the salon before your appointment so we can ensure we have your color ready and in stock.
Please arrive with freshly washed, clean hair for any color or extension service. Clean hair helps your color apply evenly and allows extensions to be installed properly.

As a mom of two, I completely understand how tricky childcare can be. For the safety and comfort of our guests and team, we kindly ask that you arrange childcare whenever possible. However, we know life happens! If you may need to bring a child or a guest, please call us beforehand so we can check the salon’s schedule and make sure it’s safe and comfortable during your appointment.
